The secret to walking through difficult times…..
Have you ever noticed that when we traverse through life,we often sometimes repeat ingrained things we know are wrong,though sometimes not for the better half of yourself,but it comes up now and again….
Things like…
Child hood trauma that triggers an emotion…
Phrases that spike negative emotions…
thing that can generally move us out of a state of Inner self thats unpleasant.
Quite often allot of us experience this,it seems to be a genetic flaw in the human mind that has a habit of triggering….
Quite often while in this emotional state,we say and do things we often find later,to be very much out of character….
“I wish I hadn’t said you had a nose like Snufalufagus”…(I’m kidding of course).
Or you act out in an emotional state…
All of these things we all have in common,quite often they probably occur more so then we would enjoy.
First thing.
Keep in mind we all do it,its a present paradigm….one that every human being deals with.
What I can say about this quite honestly,is that the first step is to acknowledge what it is that you feel…
When you are aware of the state(I use a positive word for it)you shift your conscious and subconscious mind into a state of questioning,thats a step in the right direction.
Things we can ask our self when reflecting.
Why did I react the way I did
What can I learn from this,so I can react differently.
what quality’s do I need to grow?
What quality’s do I need to manifest in order to have piece of mind.
I believe that most negative reactions are caused from ingrained things our subconscious picks up over the years,and unfortunately sometimes,people around us get the brunt of it.
Empowered to change.
with these things in our minds allot of us seek out, through many different means,usually exterior,is an answer to”why”…
And quite often,we don’t realize,most of our answers lie within.
the ability to ask ourselves questions,and find a means to answer with an open inner mind.
“Every adversity has the equivalent or greater benefit,but you have to look for it,or germinate the seed within your self” a very wise man once said.
When we start to shift our awareness to the quality’s we concentrate on to manifest our piece mind,quite often it neutralizes,or changes the perception of the issue at hand.
“You know….you are aware,when it comes up again,the reaction this time, will be different”
Remember that the more you focus on the negative aspect of what it is you don’t want,the more likely you are to manifest these things into your life,at greater speed.
Kind of like water going down the drain(many of us feel our life is like that)
the more we concentrate on the issue,faster the water travels down to its destination.
Remember that like attracts like,especially when you focus on it.
Unplugging the Drain:
what I’m talking about ,is developing the ability to choose,rather than react.
if an individual can have enough awareness to choose to ask the question”what lesson is here for me?”
“What blessing is here for me to learn from?”
rather than going into,”fear,or wishful thinking”…
Have the ability to laugh at yourself,you don’t have to beat yourself up because you had a moment….that wasn’t to your better liking.
Well….we all have them,and not one of us can really stand in judgment and say”you know I never do that”….
You become empowered by making this choice.
The universe now opens up tons of opportunity’s that here before we would have never seen,because we are now asking the right questions.
Feeling the Witness Posture:
By quieting our mind,choice is a function of awareness,and that is one of the prime techniques to observe things from a detached point of emotion.
Thus giving us the ability to get into a state were we can quite often say to our selves in what ever manner”ahhh….that would be a happier outcome for the situation.”
at first when you seek learning meditation,we quite often are trying to fit it into our lives…
it feels a little odd man out so to speak.
But as you grow and learn about yourself,your life will grow around meditation.
So how do we meditate?
I knew you were going to ask about that.
“appointment with the infinite”.
First off.
This is not about magical thinking,positive thinking,its not wishful.
Its placing yourself in a position to have an affirmative realization of what is , in this wonderful magnificent universe.
and then walking in the direction of it.
Faiths about being out their were all the action is with all systems go.
and having dominion over your focus and your life.
When you become aware through mediation it will change your life and circumstance.
Ok the Second blog will be about meditation,and doing things with awareness of what it is your doing in your life.
We’ll talk about allot of fun stuff….
